British Airways Direct Non-Stop Flight Durban London

British Airways Direct Non-Stop Flight Durban London – From October 2018 British Airways have introduced non-stop flights between Heathrow London and King Shaka International Durban. Kwa-Zulu Natal Tourism report that currently about 100 000 passengers  travel annually between UK and Durban. The 5 955-mile trip takes just under 12 hours. This saves a minimum of 3 hours on the present popular shortest flights via Johannesburg, Nairobi or Nairobi.

British Airways Direct Non-Stop Flight Durban London – Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

The aircraft on this route is an extremely modern design with new technological features. Some add that environmental impact contributes to customer well-being during the flight and reduces jet lag which are as follows:

  • The design allows for higher pressurisation and more moisture in the cabin air.
  • New efficient aircraft wider than other plans making it more spacious for passengers
  • Smoother Ride Technology features “smart sensors” that detect turbulence and are designed to reduce motion sickness eight-fold.
  • The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner has larger windows.
